Random thoughts on thoughts

Ever find yourself thinking about something, and then five minutes you realize that the thought pattern you just went through was completely fucked up? Yea, while walking home from school yesterday I found some buckeyes along the side of the path. I collected a few, and left the rest for other travellers or the squirrels (whoever finds them first).

VV My thought process went like this VV
Continuing my walk home, I started thinking about why anyone would name their football team after a nut.

I also noticed after really looking at one buckeye in particular, that they've very pretty patterns on them, almost like age rings on wood.

This reminded me of the swirls inside clear marbles, also relating buckeye to cat's eye.

I then thought about my third grade year (when I moved here, and was very interested in marbles).

Which reminded me of how I used to be a huge Pokemon addict, and would often get in trouble for playing my Gameboy color/advance/SP (depending on whatever I was playing at the time, obviously.).

I then thought about an afterschool child care program I went to, called LatchKey, and remembered my first crush on the teacher there.

After all of this, I noticed that my thought process went from a tree nut to my first crush in under 10 minutes. Yes I know.... wtf?

What's one of your stranger thought processions? How often do you realize you're not thinking about what you started thinking about?

Party never ends...

Let's start out with an introduction. I'm a 17 year old high school senior with a (somewhat) troubled past of my own making. Some of it purposeful, some of it the consequence of said purposeful troubles which were unintended. If I've already lost you I sincerely apologize for not being the sort of person you're looking to read about.

If you're still here of course, it's a whole different story. Even visiting my site has proven that you've some interest in what I have to say so why not stick around and see what else I have to share. Over my time here I plan to share my ideas on philosophy, religion, literature, and many other topics even down to say, some jack ass I encountered in school that day.

I hope I won't be just another whining teenager, but someone whose here to share what I have and to learn more about self improvement and actually gain something out of writing to an audience (no matter how small, hi mom!).
